Makeup of the Day for April 1, 2015

I got so much positive feedback via my Facebook page and Instagram when I posted this makeup look, so I decided to do another Makeup of the Day post to talk about what products I used.

Honestly, some days my makeup looks better than others, and more times than not, I can't even get a good photo of it to show everyone. I recently purchased a ring light, which is in transit to my house now, as well as a few other camera equipment items. I'm hoping those will help me to take better quality makeup photos to share with you all in the upcoming future.

I wore this particular look to dinner with a friend for my birthday this past week. I'm not sure there was any inspiration behind it, except that I've been working on cleaning up my cut crease work. This ended up being a softer cut crease, but I loved it all the same. And to top it off, I used a drugstore palette to create it!

Products Used:
Primer: Skindinavia Primer Spray with Oil Control
Foundation: MAC Studio Fluid Fix Foundation in NC15
Concealer: Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit (Light)
Setting Powder: Dermablend  Loose Setting Powder in Transparent & Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder for all over face
Bronzer: Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit (Light) & Too Faced "Milk Chocolate Soleil" Bronzer
Blush: Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in "Incandescent Electra"
Highlighter: MAC Mineralized Skin Finish in "Soft & Gentle"
Eye Primer: Lime Crime Eye Brightening Primer, which I purchased before the big scam
Eyeshadow: L'Oreal La Nude 1 Palette & brow bone highlight is a Coastal Scents Hot Pot
Eyeliner: Waterline & tightline are done with Too Faced Perfect Eyes Waterproof in "Perfect Black" and liquid liner is NYC Black
Mascara: I double up with random mascaras on a daily basis, but today was UD Perversion Mascara & Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara
Brows: NYX Micro Brow Pencil in "Taupe"
Setting Spray: Skindinavia Oil Control Setting Spray
Lipstick: MAC "Candy Yum Yum"

I hope this gives you an idea on what types of products I use on a daily basis, and what it takes to create a makeup look similar to this. If you have any questions about any of the products or methods used, then please feel free to message me. I am open to helping in anyway I can!

I have already taken photos for several new posts, which will be up reviewing new products later on this week. If there is any product you'd like to see me review, then let me know. I aim to please!

xx
