I went for a girls' night out with my sister on Saturday afternoon, and this is the makeup I wore out with her:
I used last year's Too Faced holiday palette "Joy to the Girls," Gerard Cosmetics' "Buttercup" lipstick by Jaclyn Hill, Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow in "Medium Brown" and "Taupe," Benefit's "Dandelion" blush, among several other products.
My liquid eyeliner was a little wonky in the image above, but there's always a risk with the liquid liner, right? No fun in walking a straight line all the time. I guess we win some and we lose some. Overall, though, I was very happy with how my makeup turned out!
Another thing I want to bring to your attention: You can see I am very pale right now! I am trying to embrace my natural skin color instead of cooking my skin in a tanning bed. I often use sunless tanner, and do have a few that I LOVE. I will have to do a post soon on my favorites and the Pros and Cons of each of the products.
Tanning causes rapid premature aging and increases our chances of skin cancer. I love being tan, but I've decided my skin and my overall health is so much better than the risk. Cancer is a large risk on my dad's side of the family, and both of my grandpa's died having cancer.
By skipping out on tanning and buying lighter foundations at the drugstore, I am preserving my youth as well as my health.
