Thanksgiving Makeup

Here are an array of photos (from my iPhone 6 Plus, because my Canon Rebel T4i wasn't charged) that I took today of my Thanksgiving Makeup.

The flash washed out some of the color on the eye makeup and of my skin tone, but I think you can get the gist of this look.

Here are the products I used today:

Eyes
Lime Crime's Venus: The Grunge Palette
Lime Crime's Eyeshadow Brightener (as primer)
Maybelline's Lash Stiletto Liquid Liner in "Brownish Black"
Maybelline's Pumped Up Colossal Volume Express Mascara
Urban Decay's Perversion Mascara

Brows
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in "Taupe" and "Medium Brown"

Face
Rimmel London Stay Matte Primer
E.L.F. Flawless Finish Foundation (darker shade) mixed together with Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation (lighter color)
ELF Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in "St. Lucia" (used this for contouring)
NARS  Virtual Domination Cheek palette for blush
Fergie Wet'n Wild "To Reflect" Shimmer palette as my highlight

Lips
Gerard Cosmetics lipstick in "Buttercup" by Jaclyn Hill
The Balm's Plump Your Pucker tinted gloss in "Cocoa My Coconut"

I had no clear picture of what I wanted to do with this look, but just sort of put it together. I plan to do a full review soon on the Venus palette, which I LOVE!

And there you have it, what I wore to Thanksgiving dinner with my family today!

My natural skin color with no extra pigmentation from the sun is pretty light, and I am finding I like it more and more these days. It's important for us to accept ourselves for who we are and all the things that entails, even our pale skin.

xx
