Benefit Cheeky Sweet Spot box o'blushes

Hey, y'all! Today's review (as I am sure you can see from the title and the photos below), is going to be on the lovely Benefit Cosmetics "Cheeky Sweet Spot Box O' Blushes," because I got it a while back and it's so beautiful.

The reason I really wanted this palette when I first discovered it, was that I'd longed to try many of these blushes and had yet to get around to buying them individually from Benefit.

The individual blushes and Hoola Bronzer retail at $28, which isn't exactly cheap. I had previously purchased Hoola, but not any of the blushes. And this lovely holiday palette has five of their cult classic blushes, the ever famous Hoola Bronzer, and a cream highlight all for a steal at $36.

I have also done my research about the amount of product we get with this, and the blushes/bronzer in here are almost the same size as the standard, individually packaged ones. The product sizes are 0.17 oz. in the full-sized products, and the ones in this tin are 0.14 oz.

At such a killer price and with almost full-sized products in it, it just seemed like a must-have, win-win.. I just couldn't resist picking one up. And I have to tell you, I am so glad I did!

As seen below, the packaging is a metal tin, which I give an A ranking because it's sturdy and will protect the product from getting damaged. It's also very cute and festive, and who doesn't love cute packaging?

Since it looks like a little tin house, I had to post an angled view so you all could see how adorable it is!

When you first open the tin, this is what you see:

And for those of you who are just starting out and might be unsure of the proper application for blush, bronzer, or highlighter, this little booklet has several tips and tricks to help you on your way to becoming a blush and contour guru.

In the back of the booklet, you'll find the detailed ingredients on all of the powders and the cream highlight.

Here is a closeup look for you, which shows you the size and the setup of the palette. I adore the packaging, myself.  Just in case you can't read the writing on them, I've listed the names of all the colors below

Left to Right: Dandelion, Bella Bamba, Sugarbomb, Watt's Up (highlighter),
Hoola, Coralista, Rockateur, and mini brush

And I also thought it was cute that Benefit included one of the mini brushes from their individual blushes/bronzers in the kit, too. I'm not sure if I will use it yet or not, but the regular sized brush like this works well, so I very well might!

couldn't get the swatches to show up as pigmented as I'd like, but these blushes are mostly subtle and very wearable, as opposed so some others that are vibrant and loud.  And in my opinion, they are are all very wearable for a daily basis or may be used for a glammed-up look.

I swatched them in the same order as their place in the tin, but I've listed the names below again, so you can see what's what.

I am so happy I managed to get my hands on one of these before they were sold out. I do believe that Ulta still has this set for sale on their site. Personally, I purchase more from Sephora, so I got mine from there, but their site is showing it as "permanently out of stock." The Benefit site also shows that the item is out of stock.

So if you're looking to purchase this, then your only option (besides it being overpriced on eBay), is to order-- and quickly-- from Ulta.

Would I recommend this product?
DUH!! I love it! I think it deserves an A+++!

I hope you all enjoyed this review. Remember, if you have any questions, then I am happy to help!

Until next time..

xx
